Week commencing 29th March 2020
In line with guidance from the Government and the Church of England all events, groups and services are suspended until further notice.
Green bin collections are currently suspended.
Oakley Lent Appeal is 40p for 40 days for the Foodbank.
Bromham Lent Appeal is for Wateraid.
If you would like to make a donation to the Foodbank while we are unable to collect packets and tins, you can go online (search for ‘Bedford Foodbank’), or make a cheque payable to ‘Bedford Foodbank’ and post or deliver it to the Rookes at 74 Woodland Drive Bromham.
St Owen’s 100 Club: Terry says ‘The 100 Club is suspended until the world starts again!’
St Owen’s extension With the ‘lockdown’ restrictions, the builders have had to stop work for the time being. But if you are out for your daily exercise, do walk round the back of the church ad see the progress that has been made already.

The Church of England has plenty of on line resources at https://www.churchofengland.org/more/media-centre/online-church including play backs of televised services, prayers and reflections and even training.
Keeping in touch The pew leaflet can be emailed or delivered to anyone who would like a copy – please tell Sarah if you know someone who wants to receive it.
Church buildings NOT open for private prayer
Sadly, due to the ‘lockdown’ restrictions, we are not allowed to open our churches. However we can continue to be the church: to pray in our homes and to demonstrate God’s love and care to those around us, especially the vulnerable – who can you phone to cheer and encourage today?
