Today St Mary, Oakley do stay for the Fathers’ Day BBQ after the service. All welcome.

BBQ for Brohmam Building Fund  big thank you to  David and Vivien  for hosting and preparing the food and to Graham Dorothy Palmer for cooking at the BBQ.  Thanks to all who supported the event. Thanks to those who generously donated the food and wine, there were no expenses, so the total raised was £1860.18

Sunday June 25th  is Revd Linda’s last service: 10.30 St Owen Bromham followed by lunch at Great Denham Community Centre. Sign the lists in the churches please.


The Bromham Show July 9th  Volunteers  are needed to help in the Church Tent. If you can help please sign the list in Church.  Thank you.

St. Mary, Oakley Teas in Church Thanks Miss Hulett and the children from Year 4 at Oakley Lower School and to all who supported teas last week which raised £119.50 from church funds. Teas in church every Sunday until the Autumn. You are most welcome.


Bring & Share Lunches. There are no Bring and Share Lunches in June or July due to other events taking place. The next Bring and Share lunch is on August 13th  at 7 Leyside with Anne & Michael More info from Anne Tombs 01234 822949 email: annetombs712@btinternet.com

Thanks to everyone at St Mary’s – Oakley who contributed to our 40 pence for 40 days Lent Appeal. In total we managed to raise £3000 towards our clients, here at Bedford Food Bank and have been amazed at everyone’s generosity.
