Alpha Course

We will be running an Alpha Course on Monday evenings this autumn for anyone interested in finding out more about the basics of the Christian faith in an open and friendly environment. Ask any questions you may have. No matter what your background or beliefs everyone is welcome. We will be serving a meal at each session and the dates are as follows:
Monday 2nd October 6.30pm- 9pm
and every subsequent Monday until Mon 4th December.
Saturday 4th November 10am – 4pm

all sessions take place in our Fellowship Room at St Owen’s church Bromham

St Owen’s Prayer Group

‘Jesus said, ‘Where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.’ (Matthew 18:20)

The Prayer Group is a meeting of fellowship with Christians of different denominations. We meet together in each other’s homes every Thursday morning between 10:30 – 12 noon during the winter months and after Easter in the church until October, weather permitting.

Each meeting gives an opportunity for sharing prayer concerns and we have a variety of ways to lead us into prayer – a bible reading, a piece of music and singing of hymns. The time is relaxed and peaceful and the group welcomes anyone who would like to come to any of the meetings and also it receives confidential prayer requests.

St Owen’s Prayer Chain

The Prayer Chain comprises of a group of praying people who can be asked to pray for someone in immediate need or crisis. Any prayer request is passed quickly round the chain through phone calls; it is totally confidential and is very comforting to the recipients that they, their family or friends are being held in God’s love.
