St Owen’s Bromham
St Owen’s has a number of social opportunities both on a regular and annual basis. The social committee is always looking for fresh ideas and new members to help run events – for more information about events, or to offer to help in any way however small please contact Flora on 01234 822094.
Regular Events
Bring and Share lunch 1st Sunday of the month after the 10.30am service, venue announced in the Pew Leaflet
Link Up – a social group for those living alone offering meetings, trips and guest speakers. 2nd Thursday of the month please contact Anne Tombs for more information on 01234 822949
Coffee Morning– 11am on the first Friday of the month in the Fellowship Room at St Owen’s please contact Frances Bulmer on 01234 602718
Friendship Lunch– 12.30pm on the 4th Wednesday of the month at the Prince of Wales, Bromham
Annual Events
Open Church– for flower viewing, teas and stalls of homemade goods- afternoons of Easter Monday and the Sunday of Harvest festival
Summer Fayre and Grand Raffle Draw– 1st Saturday of June, Bromham Village Hall
Family Picnic– 1st Sunday in July in the churchyard after the morning service
Afternoon Tea in Church– July
Benefice BBQ- summer
Family Quiz
Harvest Supper– Saturday after Harvest Festival in church
Light Party– an alternative to Halloween activities, 31st Oct

St Mary’s Oakley

St Mary’s hosts ‘Teas in church’ every Sunday afternoon from the end of May until the third Sunday of September.
Amigo is a social group for Anglicans and Methodists and usually meets on the 4th Tuesday of the month for guest speakers, activities, trips and other social events. Please contact John Dixon for further information on 01234 824959
Oakley Coffee Charity coffee mornings are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 10.30am- 12 noon
